The kids have been back to school for a while now and they are getting tired of the same old thing for lunch.  They normally take sandwiches or pack something like Chef Boyardee.  Time to change it up a bit.  Each week I’ll be posting a new idea for lunches that should be healthier and cheaper than the typical school lunch.

We tried to go meatless again this week only the planned lunch was a flop.  I thought Sushi would be a nice change.  We found a recipe, bought all the stuff and made up 10 full roles.   Joseph was the only one that really enjoyed them. We probably won’t be making these again, but it was good to try something new and different.

Anyone have any yummy lunch ideas?
